About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Delaware, working under the supervision of Prof. John Q. Xiao. My research focuses on NV center magnetometry, 2D magnetic materials, and spintronics. While my earlier work involved ab initio computational studies of Heusler alloys, I have since transitioned to experimental condensed matter physics, where I probe magnetic phenomena at the nanoscale using nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center-based techniques.

Research Focus

NV Magnetometry

Utilizing nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond as quantum sensors to image and measure magnetic fields at the nanoscale, enabling the study of magnetic textures in novel materials.

2D Magnetic Materials

Investigating the magnetic properties of atomically thin materials and van der Waals heterostructures, exploring new physics that emerges in the two-dimensional limit.

Spintronics

Exploring spin-dependent transport phenomena and spin dynamics in magnetic thin films and nanostructures, bridging fundamental physics with potential device applications.
